'Les Six', Cairanne, AOC 2015
91 POINTS, The Wine Advocate (Issue 233, 31st October 2017)
“Named for the six grape varieties in the blend, the 2015 Cairanne Les Six features this cuvée's hallmark spice and garrigue notes but backs them with concentrated cherry and raspberry fruit and a silky finish. Drink this medium to full-bodied wine over the next 5-8 years.”– Joe Czerwinski.

'Les Six' is a blend of six grape varieties, co-fermented together in pairs to show how the rare and ancient varietiesof Carignan Noir, Cinsault and Counoise can enhance the more popular southern Rhône varieties of Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre.

Following a traditionally slow vinification, using only natural yeasts, gentle remontage and manual pigeage Les Six is later assembled and matured only in tronconique (large oak vats) for up to twelve months at the Cairanne cellars of Domaine Boutinot Rhône.

2015 is the first vintage of  'Les Six' to be released as Cairanne AOC following the elevation of Cairanne to Cru appellation status from the 2015 vintage.
