Solid Silver for Séguret 2014

'Les Coteaux Schisteux' Séguret Côtes du Rhône Villages 2014 from Boutinot Rhône has achieved solid results in the latest round of international wine competitions, winning Silver at both the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWAA) and the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC).
Judges for the 2017 Decanter World Wine Awards, chaired by John Livingstone-Learmonth also awarded 92 points to Les Coteaux Schisteux, describing the 2014 vintage as having "rich, bold fruit and spicy oak on the palate" and further commenting that it was a "delicious wine".
IWSC 2017 judges also awarded Les Coteaux Schisteux 2014 a Silver medal, considering it a 'fine example' and 'excellent quality'.
Part of the Boutinot Rhône Fide et Arte range 'Les Coteaux Schisteux', Séguret, Côtes du Rhône Villages 2014is sourced from a single 50 year vineyard planted with Grenache Noir intermingled, as was the tradition, with Syrah. The result is a Séguret which is one of the purest expressions of Granche Noir in the Southern Rhône valley.
