International Wine Challenge 2017 Results

Boutinot Rhone La Fleur Solitaire Cotes du Rhone

 

Results of the International Wine Challenge 2017 have just been announced with a quartet of awards for the Boutinot Rhône Fide et Arte range. 

Both 'La Côte Sauvage' Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne 2013 and 'La Fleur Solitaire' Côtes du Rhône 2015 achieved Silver medals. Judges described 'La Fleur Solitaire'as a "lively and floral wine with notes of orchard fruit, mountain herbs and a fresh finish."  Two months ago 'La Fleur Solitaire 'was also praised in the website of US publication the Wine Spectator and awarded 89 points (www.winespectator.com, October 2016). 

Bronze medal winning 'Les Deux Barriques', Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne 2011 was described by judges as "Gentle, aromatic, subtle red with perfumed flavours of red cherries, ripe tannins and freshness. Understated but mature.". 

'Les Six', Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne 2014 was also awarded a bronze medal, which follows 15.5 points awarded by Jancis Robinson in a tasting held on the 18th of November 2016.
